THE NEW ERA OF POSTNATAL CARE

This learning is rooted in our deep-seated, ancient instinctual language as humans - it's the all-knowing, biological communication between infant and parent that builds foundational trust, empathy and transformative connection. At the heart of it all is presence and the tools we offer are designed to help parents return to that grounded, connected state again and again.

This offering is all about supporting your baby's gut health through balanced feeding practices that are tailored to integrate with their natural digestive development — whether breastfeeding, bottle feeding, mixed or formula, or introducing solids. We also cover simple, home solutions for common feeding challenges, including milk supply, pumping, positioning, mastitis, bottle refusal, formula selection, and more.

Here we teach you how to burp your baby effectively by reading and responding to their Six Wind Cues and using advantageous positions and calming techniques in right timing — all of which make up the ten steps of IPHA's burping method, Nature's Wind Sequence. Also, when we say effectively, we mean meeting your baby's natural need for 10–25 burps after every feed, which is entirely achievable when your baby is supported within the Bio-logical Care framework.

Understanding your infant's cues, from body language to digestive movements, is essential for you to respond meaningfully to your newborn's needs in each moment, while offering co-regulation. That's why we equip parents with a comprehensive understanding of the many ways babies communicate and how to respond effectively and with confidence to each one.

We guide parents in using gentle bonding techniques, soothing sounds, nurturing touch, and calming holds to address the root causes of digestive discomfort and support restful sleep. Rather than relying on temporary fixes like prolonged bouncing or even unnecessary medication, we empower parents with lasting strategies that bring real relief to both baby and family.

Globally, much of what parents are taught today unknowingly places undue stress on the developing digestive system, giving rise to symptoms that are, in many cases, entirely preventable and healable. Here, we cut through the noise, debunk the myths, and teach the physiological research on infant digestion that you need to know to empower you to make healthy, supportive choices for your baby.

You'll learn how to nourish the consistent, deep sleep cycles your newborn needs to thrive and develop well. When our entwinned teaching on Bio-logical Digestion, Feeding and Burping are delivered, parent's move beyond the 45-minute sleep cycles that many are told to simply accept as normal, and reinstate nature's real rhythm.

Becoming a mother is one of life's most profound gifts, but it also brings emotional and physical challenges that deserve real support. Healing from labour, caring for your body, and adapting to an entirely new way of life all take time and the right tools. That's why, at IPHA we're passionate about sharing the natural remedies and knowledge that can ease your path, helping you navigate this transformation with greater confidence and care.

Partners are often the unsung heroes of the postnatal journey - present, needed, and yet frequently without the guidance they deserve on how their hormones shift, the possible overwhelm and even disconnection. That's why we dedicate space here to build real understanding and practical coping tools that allow partners to show up fully for themselves and the family.

It’s fair to say that even the strongest relationships will have challenging moments during the postnatal stage due to sleep deprivation alone, let alone the new demands. We have therefore included some suggestions that we feel guided partners to determine their emotional legacy and support within the parent and partner relationship to stabilise union as you find your new equilibrium.
PREBIRTH POSTNATAL CLASSES
we teach the knowledge that all newborns wish you knew to hold them fully.
With us, you are supported every step of the way because we believe that a mother who feels informed, seen, and held is the greatest gift a baby can receive.
With our support you don't just learn how to care for your baby, you step into the transformation that fatherhood truly is, for yourself and your partner.

IPHA's Bio-logical Care Postnatal Educators are specifically trained to provide one or more of our worldwide community classes as outlined below...
They are trained to provide our Prebirth Postnatal Classes that empower pregnant parents with the practical hands-on postnatal care that is required along with the methods of Bio-logical Care, which guides parents to avoid infant colic, reflux, the witching hour, lactose and dairy overload - aka Digestive Overload.
Guided by our informative curriculum, our educators know that offering the practical postnatal knowledge needed to understand and care for an infant's holistic health in the first six months of life, whilst parents learn how to sustain themselves, is vital if we are to lay a steady foundation for optimal growth - and this is why they love what they do!
|
Eight months of online training on: BabyCues Bio-logical Practice, Digestive Overload, Bio-logical Feeding, Bio-logical Burping and Gas, Bio-logical Sleep, Bio-logical Cues and Calming, and Consultations. |
|
| Understand the causes and the natural pathways to heal Digestive Overload (the real cause of colic, reflux, silent reflux, the witching hour, and some cases of CMPA). | |
| Available for individuals, groups, or organisations so we can collectively obtain continuity in care for this silent pandemic. |

Excuse me for a moment while I say it like it is…
As someone who has worked in this field for over thirty years, hearing what I now know to be the unnecessary cries of thousands of infants, I scream out with them, that it’s time for change!
Postnatally our parents are exhausted within their survival mode of “living”. They are lost without the training needed for their most important role, and desperate within illogical, conflicting advice that all too often results in so called “remedies” that create a further cascade of ill health for their most dearest.
As for our innocent young. Well, they are either birthed into a postnatal world that could provide more understanding about them and how to connect with their innate being, or they are in a place of misery that no divined human deserves to live from the lack of information that parents are receiving. Trapped in a cycle of pain from a system that has largely become reactive to symptoms, rather than proactive for preventative care.
We cannot leave them to suffer – to not experience that which they truly are. Thankfully, now, we do not have to. All we need to do is choose to transform for them. To admit we got some things wrong, while we work hard to realign once again with nature’s real answers.
So, whether you are a parent, a grandparent, or a committed human like us whom deeply believe it’s time for a proactive and preventative postnatal healthcare system, we extend our hands for yours so that together we can foster immeasurable advances to heal our children, enable healthy postnatal families and elevate generational wellbeing."
The time is now.
Will you join us?
This is the wish of many, a call from mother nature, and certainly something IPHA willingly contributes to.
An est. 33,000,000 infants suffer with colic globally, and 90,000,000 experience varying degrees of reflux symptoms every year! Preventing and eliminating these symptoms with aligned, natural care is a large part of what we do!
